Post-Eid slump, broken internet, and breaking the ice.
My Daily Journal
Day 47
30th May 2026
Sleep log: 10:40 pm - 4:25 am
Prayed Fajr and did Azkar.
Then slept again.
Then woke up at 9:00 am.
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Had breakfast.
Opened Skool and replied to some comments and posted there.
Then played Uno with my Phupho and cousins.
Then peeled potatoes.
Then thori si hawa chali or chalo ji net band. 🤦🏼♀️
Then we had some gup shup.
12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We ate chana chaat.
Phupho ko see off kiya wu bhi chali gain apne ghar.
Heated up lunch for my brother.
Prayed Zuhr.
Did my daily Quran recitation.
Ate fried naan.
Made chai.
The internet was still off for a long time and my cousin opened camera on his tablet, it had really nice filters and stickers so i joined him.😝😂
Then I was just about to sleep when the internet started working again, so it was just me and my mobile.
I made a post for LinkedIn and commented on some posts.
I also saw that people were posting on LinkedIn consistently even during Eid… and for non-muslims, Eid isn’t a holiday for them.😔
Anyway, from today I’ll also post consistently, InshaAllah.
Then the internet went off again.
The kitchen also needed cleaning, so I thought I’d wash the dishes instead of wasting time in the gallery 😔
Washed the dishes.
Then prayed Asar and did Azkar.
Had ice cream 🍨
Then sent a DM to Haroon Bhai. Finally, Laraib broke the ice 🤓
7:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Put water in the birds’ bowls.
Prayed Maghrib and read Surah Waqiah.
Helped with dinner and then had dinner.
Made chai. Washed dishes again.
Prayed Isha and read Tafseer.
Read Surah Mulk and Surah Muzammil.
Slept.
I'll post a daily journal every day, InshaAllah, because when I know I have to write one, I try to make my day productive.😭
