1. Contact & Contracts
- Rule: No contact before contract → koi link ya personal info share mat karo before contract, warna Upwork ban kar sakta hai.
- Explanation: Always keep communication inside Upwork until contract is active. Payment bhi sirf Upwork ke through ho.
2. Payments & Invites
- Rule: 10% payment Upwork ko dena hota hai.
- Explanation: Platform fee hai, avoid karna possible nahi.
- Invites: Heavy invites zaroori nahi, but quality invites honi chahiye.
3. Meetings & Groups
- Rule: Zoom calls aur meetings Upwork ke andar karo.
- Explanation: Don’t record meetings bina permission. Agar helper add karna hai toh “start a new conversation” se group banao.
4. Saying No to Clients
- Rule: Agar kaam suit nahi karta toh politely bolo “I’m not a good fit.”
- Explanation: Zyada explanation mat do, warna client report kar sakta hai.
5. Accepting Offers
- Rule: Offer accept karne ke liye 7 din ka time hota hai.
- Tip: Agar client ne paisay escrow mein nahi dale toh accept mat karo.
- Extra: Don’t accept offers from low-quality clients.
6. Work Diary & Hours
- Rule: Hourly work → har hour track hota hai in work diary.
- Explanation: Manual hours allow hote hain but balance sheet check karo.
7. Transaction History
- Rule: Always check transaction history.
- Explanation: Yeh confirm karta hai ke paisay escrow mein hain aur release honge jb deliver hojyega kaam.
8. Client Seriousness
- Rule: Client se escrow mein paisay dalwane ko bolo before starting.
- Explanation: This ensures seriousness and avoids unpaid work.
9. Project Catalog
- Note: Project catalog se hire hona thoda tough hota hai.
- Explanation: Isme fixed packages hote hain jo clients directly buy karte hain.
