What’s one thing you learned in school, at any age, that is useful to you professionally today?
One of the most valuable things I learned in school was…
how to survive the embarrassment of giving a presentation I wasn’t prepared for.
I still remember it My teacher suddenly called my name, I froze, my slides weren’t ready, and everyone was staring.
But instead of breaking down, I took a deep breath, walked to the front, and spoke from whatever clarity I had.
I didn’t give the “best” presentation…
but I learned the most important skill of my life:
1. Even when you’re not ready, show up with confidence.
2. Your voice matters more than being perfect.
3. If you keep going while scared, you’re already ahead of 90% of people.
Today, whether I’m creating offers, talking to clients, or selling, this one lesson guides me every single day.
What about you?
