Launching my start up
I’m Rabeet, a recent Computer Science graduate. For my final-year project, my team and I set out to build a trust-first marketplace, specifically focused on electronic devices.
You can think of it as a more reliable, improved version of OLX, with features designed to reduce fraud and improve overall user confidence.
Some of the key features include:
- AI-based verification when creating a listing
- Duplicate ad detection to prevent spam
- Invoice generation and verification for every completed sale
- A reverse marketplace model
- And many more trust-focused enhancements
What started as an FYP went through multiple iterations and several months of complete redesign. We’re now excited to announce that we’ll be launching the beta version on 24th January.
