Three days ago, on my way to university, I was crossing a three-lane road. I crossed the first lane, but the moment I stepped onto the second, something strange happened. I completely zoned out. I forgot I was standing in the middle of a road, while cars were moving around me. I stood there blank, not realizing a speeding car was coming straight toward me.
It was only when the driver suddenly pressed the horn that I snapped back in a nanosecond and stepped away. In that moment, I understood how close everything was to changing.
I truly believe Allah protected me. I had prayed my morning adhkar before leaving home, and that reminder stayed with me:
"Remembering Allah brings protection in ways we don’t even see."
