Heres what I learned from Freelancing Guide video
- There are multiple steps of starting freelancing
- Step#1 Select niche which has these attributes:
- Long Term Client,
- High Demand Niche,
- High Paying Client,
- Easy To Find Clients,
- Retainer Clients,
- Outsource Friendly.
- Step#2 Select right skills/tools and here are the following skills you can choose from;
- Product Building,
- Marketing
- Operational
- Recommended Skill is marketing because you could have the best product and best team, but if your marketing is not strong then it would all be useless, on the other hand if your marketing is great you can basically sell anything.
- Marketing has these sub categories:
- Copy Writing,
- Short/Long Form Editing,
- Meta Ads
- Content Monetization
- Using that we help client with building Content Strategy, Scripting, Monetization and Community Building
- Step#3 How To Learn Skills: Learn from Haroon and his team, they have posted learning in classroom and can directly ask for help, by posting in the community.
- Step#4 Building Portfolio: Work until you make 10-20lakh from skills and until then use someone else or ask Haroon he will provide
- Step#5 How to get Clients:
- Go to upwork and get by,
- Invites,
- Direct Messaging,
- Project Catalog,
- Marketing Consultation,
- Outreach and Ads
- Step#6 Communication (most important)
- Your communication should be consistent and helpful on these three phases
- Before onboarding/work (be helpful and give advice)
- During Work (provide small updates frequently)
- After work is finished (provide support)
