Heres what i learned from What is Freelancing? video.
- Need to be Self disciplined and able to manage time
- Client Communication is important which lets you close and build relationship
- Quality work makes client satisfied and choose you for long term
- Consistency is important when delivering work and Commitment to what you have promised and deliver exactly that
- Portfolio is not that important you can just tell the client that instead of portfolio i can offer a 5 second sample and get Feedback from it so you can improve
- Networking and Relationship is what keeps you busy with work and to establish good relationship make the client's life easier provide guidance for free so the client is forced to choose you
- Negotation Skills is what get you good offers
- Continuous Learning is a big part of freelancing as the industry keeps on changing we need to adapt to it by learning from others and from your mistakes
- Financial management is where you will be managing your expenses and Taxes
- Work life Balance is important for better productivity and good mental health
