Desafio Semanal (Weekly Challenge) ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท
This Weekโ€™s Portuguese Challenge: Colors! ๐ŸŽจ Great job to everyone who completed last weekโ€™s challenge! ๐Ÿ‘ This week, weโ€™re building on what you already learned. Remember: - Eu gosto deโ€ฆ = I likeโ€ฆ - Eu nรฃo gosto deโ€ฆ = I donโ€™t likeโ€ฆ Now, use those same sentence starters with colors! For example: - Eu gosto de azul. (I like blue.) - Eu nรฃo gosto de marrom. (I donโ€™t like brown.) Iโ€™ve added an English-friendly pronunciation under each color to help you read the words more confidently. Itโ€™s not perfect Portuguese pronunciation, but itโ€™s close enough to make speaking much easier when youโ€™re just getting started. Iโ€™m also sending you an audio recording so you can hear how each color is pronounced. ๐ŸŽค Your challenge: 1. Repeat all of the colors out loud. 2. Record yourself saying: - Eu gosto deโ€ฆ + one color. - Eu nรฃo gosto deโ€ฆ + a different color. Iโ€™d absolutely love to hear your recordings! Donโ€™t worry about being perfect; just focus on practicing. Every time you say the words out loud, youโ€™re getting closer to speaking Portuguese naturally. ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทโค๏ธ

Portuguese Practice with Sentence Structure
My theory when teaching Portuguese is simple: If you can create one sentence, you can create ten. If you can create ten, you can create twenty. Today, letโ€™s learn one of the easiest and most useful sentence structures in Portuguese: Eu gosto deโ€ฆ = I likeโ€ฆ Eu nรฃo gosto deโ€ฆ = I donโ€™t likeโ€ฆ For example: โžก๏ธ Eu gosto de futebol. (eh-OO GOHS-too jee foo-chee-BAWL) = I like soccer. โžก๏ธ Eu nรฃo gosto de futebol. (eh-OO now GOHS-too jee foo-chee-BAWL) = I donโ€™t like soccer. Now think of other Portuguese words you already know! Iโ€™m leaving you a list of common verbs and nouns to help you. Try creating at least two sentences using this structure, then post them in the comments. Want extra practice? Record yourself saying your sentences and send me an audio! Iโ€™ll personally review it and give you feedback. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท
