This Week’s Portuguese Challenge: Colors! 🎨
Great job to everyone who completed last week’s challenge! 👏
This week, we’re building on what you already learned.
Remember:
- Eu gosto de… = I like…
- Eu não gosto de… = I don’t like…
Now, use those same sentence starters with colors!
For example:
- Eu gosto de azul. (I like blue.)
- Eu não gosto de marrom. (I don’t like brown.)
I’ve added an English-friendly pronunciation under each color to help you read the words more confidently. It’s not perfect Portuguese pronunciation, but it’s close enough to make speaking much easier when you’re just getting started.
I’m also sending you an audio recording so you can hear how each color is pronounced.
🎤 Your challenge:
- Repeat all of the colors out loud.
- Record yourself saying:
- Eu gosto de… + one color.
- Eu não gosto de… + a different color.
I’d absolutely love to hear your recordings! Don’t worry about being perfect; just focus on practicing. Every time you say the words out loud, you’re getting closer to speaking Portuguese naturally. 🇧🇷❤️
