LSA phone number configuration

Is there a problem for Google to have a different phone number on your LSA vs on your GBP?

Also, should your phone number for LSA message leads be the same as the one for them to call you?

We've put a tracking number for all of our LSA clients ever since we started their account with their personal number on their GBP and for message leads, but across 7-8 accounts, we've only ever received 2 message leads vs 25-30 phone leads which is weird...
