LSA Not Receiving AI Reponse
Hey guys since yesterday our LSA is not getting the response from our AI agents. Anyone experienced the same issue and what steps have you taken to solve this. Thanks!

Hello @Keith Jayogue Yeah I’ve actually seen this happen a few times, especially when Google does one of those quiet backend updates. Sometimes it’s the update; other times it’s just setup detail that got missed. both can break the connection between LSA and whatever AI or automation you’re using
AI Agents Are Live, But LSA Leads Still Lag — What’s Missing?
Since January 2025, I've been using AI agents to improve response times for phone and message leads through Google Local Services Ads (LSA). Despite the integration, performance has been inconsistent. Here's a breakdown of lead and appointment data: - Jan–May: Averaged 6 leads/month, with about 2 appointments/month - June: 31 leads, 18 qualified, 12 booked - July: 28 leads, 11 qualified, 5 booked - August: 12 leads, 5 qualified, 3 booked - September: 10 leads, 5 qualified, 3 booked Weekly budget is $6,000, but the highest monthly spend was only $1,137 (June/July). All other months averaged just $220. Even with AI agents fully connected to the system, lead volume and conversions remain low. What else can be done to ensure leads actually come through LSA? Would appreciate any insights or suggestions from those who've faced similar challenges or found effective solutions. Business: HVAC company focused on new installations, not maintenance. Only 3 out of 15 job types are active, as the remaining 12 are related to repair services.

Honestly, this kind of up-and-down performance with LSA is more common than people admit, especially for HVAC businesses that focus mainly on installs. LSA tends to reward volume and category breadth, so when only 3 job types are active, Google doesn’t have enough “surface area” to push consistent leads your way. A few things usually move the needle: • When Google sees limited job types turned on, it often throttles impressions. Even if you don’t want repair jobs, turning them on temporarily can signal relevance and increase your visibility overall. • Strong weekly budget doesn’t matter if Google isn’t confident enough to spend it. That usually means your category completeness, reviews, responsiveness score, and “active hours” need a deeper audit. • AI agents are great for response times, but if the LSA profile itself isn’t fully optimized, you still end up with low-volume swings. Sometimes the issue isn’t the follow-up—it’s the funnel above it. The way your June/July numbers spiked tells me Google can deliver for your niche, but the account isn’t sending steady signals anymore. If you’re open to it, I can share a few things I’ve seen work for HVAC teams recently—simple tweaks that stabilize impressions and bring back dependable lead flow.

@Adler Araujo I'm really glad you found my comment helpful! 😊 To stabilize impressions and improve lead flow, I usually focus on a few key things: 1. Budget & Bidding Alignment 2. Active Job Types Optimization—Since only 3 of your 15 job types are active, I’d dig into which ones actually drive the most qualified leads. Sometimes trimming or pausing low-performing categories can improve overall impressions for the profitable ones. 3. Ad Copy & Keyword Refresh – AI can handle responses, but the ads themselves need to clearly reflect what users are searching for. Small tweaks in headlines, descriptions, and targeting can increase clicks and qualified leads. 4. Lead Nurturing & Follow-up—Even with AI agents answering quickly, follow-up sequences (emails, texts, and call reminders) can significantly lift conversion from lead to booked appointment.
Integrating Google LSA into a CRM or Field Service Software
Greetings, I am wondering if anyone in here uses Google LSA for home services? I think the Google LSA program is beneficial but I really dislike it's cumbersome interface. I am manually entering in lead information into a Google Sheet and doing my best to stay on tap of rapid response time. I am strongly considering a field service software like Jobber, Notifi, or HouseCall Pro. What I am really hoping to do is to have leads from LSA automatically show up in the crm of a program as a new lead or opportunity and also send a text message to the phone number that called or a message back. So far I have found an integration service called LSArespond. I am also using an AI receptionist app called M1 that answers the phone and takes down vital lead information. Any thoughts or input would be welcome.

Hey this is super relatable — Google LSA’s backend can feel like it was built a decade ago. You’re definitely on the right track thinking about automation though. Instead of manually pushing everything into Sheets, you can actually connect LSA → CRM through tools like Zapier, Make (formerly Integromat), or even a webhook bridge, depending on what CRM you end up using. If you’re considering Jobber or HouseCall Pro, both can receive data via webhooks or API, so you could have new LSA leads automatically drop in as contacts or opportunities, then trigger a text follow-up right away. M1 could also pass the call data straight into your CRM if it’s set up correctly. If you don’t mind me asking, are you leaning more toward Jobber or HouseCall Pro? That’ll make a big difference in what kind of integration flow you could build.
