LSA Not Receiving AI Reponse
Hey guys since yesterday our LSA is not getting the response from our AI agents. Anyone experienced the same issue and what steps have you taken to solve this. Thanks!

I had a similar problem yesterday. My AI Agent responds through the SMS channel. It seems the issue is not with the AI Agent setup but with the communication between the LSA routing number and the LSA platform. The messages did not reach the lead and were not recorded in the LSA dashboard. I opened a ticket and am waiting for a response. This affects our response rate because we believe the message was answered promptly, while in reality the system - and more importantly, the lead - is not receiving it.
AI Agents Are Live, But LSA Leads Still Lag — What’s Missing?
Since January 2025, I've been using AI agents to improve response times for phone and message leads through Google Local Services Ads (LSA). Despite the integration, performance has been inconsistent. Here's a breakdown of lead and appointment data: - Jan–May: Averaged 6 leads/month, with about 2 appointments/month - June: 31 leads, 18 qualified, 12 booked - July: 28 leads, 11 qualified, 5 booked - August: 12 leads, 5 qualified, 3 booked - September: 10 leads, 5 qualified, 3 booked Weekly budget is $6,000, but the highest monthly spend was only $1,137 (June/July). All other months averaged just $220. Even with AI agents fully connected to the system, lead volume and conversions remain low. What else can be done to ensure leads actually come through LSA? Would appreciate any insights or suggestions from those who've faced similar challenges or found effective solutions. Business: HVAC company focused on new installations, not maintenance. Only 3 out of 15 job types are active, as the remaining 12 are related to repair services.

@Roxanne Escolano thank you for your comment. If I enable repair services, will it help generate new installation leads? Regarding the leads that come in looking for repair services (which still happen even with that job type disabled), I used to rate them as “It is for a service the business does not provide.” How should I rate these leads if repair is an enabled job type?

@Mike Mike thank you for your detailed comment. I’d appreciate it if you could share what steps you took to stabilize impressions and restore lead flow.
Google Business review tap cards!!
Hey guys, something I would advise and Ryan agrees, every business who has a Google Business Profile and especially running LSA should have one of these Google tap/scan review cards! This is a great way to collect reviews when your in-person of your customer. Very easy for them to give you a fast 5 star review and comment with key words of your service. I am sending these to all my clients and have one for my own firm. Super cool, super easy set up, and super beneficial

Great! Thanks for sharing.
When someone tries to sell you an AI agent, and yours responds...
At least the message wasn't charged, and the response rate wasn't affected.

GLSA asleep and GBP ranking
Hi Ryan, As I mentioned in my "greetings" post, I'm managing an LSA account for an HVAC company. Lead flow has been low: six leads last month and only two in January. Today, I connected a GHL AI Agent to the LSA account. The same number will receive messages and also serve as a backup for calls. I also conducted a ranking analysis using the GBP Check app. What caught my attention in this analysis was the company ranking in second place. I understand that ranking involves many variables, and reviews are just one of them. However, they have fewer reviews than the top competitors, a weaker GBP profile (score 47 according to GBP Check app), and are still ranking high. It seems like there’s a crucial element in the ranking puzzle that I should focus on addressing. I believe that connecting the AI Agent to the LSA account and fine-tuning our GBP profile could be a game-changer. Based on your experience, what could be done to improve our GBP ranking? (Or what might our competitor be doing to rank high with a weaker profile?) Is there any other advice for generating leads again, besides asking for more reviews, uploading photos to GBP/LSA, and increasing the budget? Thanks in advance, Adler

@Roxanne Escolano thank your for your answer. I ran an audit with Brightlocal and GBP Check. There are strong competitors in the area (more than 1k reviews). About the radius, we are targeting almost all MA state. What was really interesting is the competitor with lower reviews, weaker GBP profile ranking between the 3 highest positions!
