We've always got our phone cameras on us. If you're looking to become a local vlogger, here's a workshopped example on how to start.
I filmed a few quick 'n' shaky clips on Saturday night, nothing fancy, and I’m putting the video on my local Facebook page page. Editied on InShot with those all-important but bloody fiddly subtitles.
Crazy venue, wild crowd, local DJs. Perfect content.
This is the point for you. A few seconds here and there can turn into a great local post, a reel, a story, whatever you want. You don’t need planning. You don’t need a script. Just catch what’s happening around you.
All filmed on the fly. And now it’s a cracking local video that I can showcase to the venue and the DJ crew.
This is what I want you to notice. Local content doesn’t need to be planned. It needs to be caught. Use what’s already happening around you. Capture it. Post it. Build from it.
And you too could be making a decent living in your home town, and further beyond.
Smart influencers start local and rise from there.
