I was a shy kid until I found theatre.
It gave me confidence, creativity, connection and a place to belong.
Now kids are growing up in a world full of screens.
Research now shows screens are affecting kids ability to interact. They still need real-world stories and adventures.
So now, I create live experiences for 8–12 year olds.
These kids are cognitively capable but still magically minded.
Too old for little kid shows but not ready to leave wonder behind, and there is almost nothing being made for them right now.
The Signal Fire is a community helping create experiences that build a foundation of confidence, creativity and connection before the teenage years ahead.
As a member you can follow the process as productions are written, designed, rehearsed and built in public, then experience them once they come to life.
The more people who help fuel the fire, the bigger the adventures we can create.
We have the skill.
We have the stories.
The fire is lit.
