Started personalizing our cold emails this month, and honestly, the results have been better than I expected. It’s nothing crazy, just recording a short video where I briefly mention their company and using their website as the background. Simple, but effective.
Before this, our reply rate was hovering around 2.3%, but after the videos, it jumped to 7.1%. Didn’t think it would make that big of a difference, but it has. Thought I might’ve been late to the party on video personalization, but I guess there’s still room to stand out with the right approach.
Has anyone else been testing something similar? Curious if others are seeing a similar bump or have any tips for making these even more impactful.
