What does 'learning' a language mean?
I often hear people say how long does it take to learn a language? Or, is it possible to learn multiple languages at the same time?
What does learning mean? How do you know when you've learned it?
I don't mean this as a rhetorical question; I would actually like to know how you define learning a language. What does that mean? How do you know when you've 'learned' it?
