Things I wish I'd known sooner...
The first idea to wrap our heads around is this: Embrace imperfection and authenticity over getting things right or wrong.
I make a ton of "mistakes in this pitch. But it's alive and engaging, and the crowd digs in. So this counts as a win.
Your mission doesn't need you to present perfectly.
It really doesn't.
Please stop listening to people who tell you that you can't stutter and fail. Or flail. You can. And survive it.
And chances are your "people" will respond to your powerful authenticity and that my dear friends include your nerves.
Nerves are not to be shamed or controlled - they are to be enjoyed and leaned into!
Know this is counterintuitive byt its true..
If you are a person who experience shyness, or you feel clumsy at times verbally or physically but you know you have a huge heart and vision that is capable of pulling you forwards into the next upgraded or expanded version of yourself. Let's talk.
New signature programme being developed to help you enjoy being your passionate bad assed self out loud...regardless of nerves.
Pics of me pitching to Simon Squibb the multimillionaire and maverick and crowd for the first time. Over 20 yrs since I've been on a stage. I'm an embodiment coach, a trained actress, and an accredited life coach.
I'm trauma informed and a survivor of childhood abuse. I'm also an introvert, bipolar, adhd and all those lovely and challenging things.
Don't let anyone put you in the corner. And absolutely don't buy into the idea that you or your nerves are a problem - they're a superpower just waiting to be utilised!
