What if the people I want to help can't afford to pay?

I am fortunate to have someone in my life, a friend, who 5 years ago was struggling big style. I was able to help her want to live again and not to continue her attempts at ending her life. I am so proud of the strong young woman that I know now. But she has never had money that would have been able to pay for the help she needed.

So while I love the idea of being financially elevated, will this enable me to help more of the people I know I can help?
