What Good Friday Teaches Us
Today is Good Friday.
A day that reminds us of the greatest act of love ever demonstrated…and the greatest price ever paid.
Jesus didn’t just talk about purpose…He walked it out ... step by step, all the way to the cross.
Not because it was easy. Not because it was comfortable. But because it was obedience.
And it got me thinking…
I can remember as a kid, sitting in the driver’s seat of my parent’s car and pretending to drive.
My little hands gripping the steering wheel…making engine noises…imagining I was going somewhere.
But the truth?
The car wasn’t moving.
And no matter how hard I tried…I couldn’t steer a parked car.
Only when the car is in motion…does the steering wheel actually respond.
And in many ways, our lives can look the same.
We pray.We plan. We dream.
But sometimes… we stay parked.
Waiting for perfect clarity.Waiting for perfect conditions.Waiting for certainty.
But Good Friday reminds us of something powerful ...
Movement often begins with obedience, not full understanding.
Jesus didn’t wait for comfort. He moved forward in obedience to the Father.
What small step of faith is in front of me right now?
Because once you begin to move…
God can guide.God can redirect.
God can accelerate.
