TASKING and my experience with it.
I've notice some interesting things with assigning tasks to my clients.
I assign tasks to really further the purpose of the session. so for example if i was diagnosing the problem, i ask the client to think about the session for 5-10 mins daily. and that would help to bring up more things for them, which we can discuss later.
if we're breaking the beliefs i ask them to write down counter example and stories from their past which would weaken the belief further.
But recently when i was getting feedback from a client, he told me that the tasking wasn't really helpful for him and when I had assigned him a more action based tasking, he found that to be helpful. (saying hi to a stranger)
I was wondering, what approach do y'all take with assigning tasks and making the process really effective?
I'm a new coach and would really benefit from how some of you experienced folks go about tasking. Thanks a lot.
