There are 2 types of psychological stress.
Eustress is the good kind. Getting married, having a child, getting a raise etc…
Then there’s the bad stress
Distress. Car accident, divorce, losing a job…
Here’s the problem: The body can’t tell the difference between the two. The physical ramifications are the same. Emotions, on the other hand, are another story.
They are sourced in the internal monologue we have About the event. How we talk to ourselves about any situation/ thing, drives our feelings about it.
