Group session pricing
Hello lovely people, I've been asked by a business, to coach their staff team for 4 weeks every Monday in July, I usually do 1 on 1 sessions and charge per session, I usually charge £100 per session which is an hour, but have been willing to extend to 90 minutes.
I've asked for the number of people attending, how long they envisage each session running for etc and if there are any specifics they are wishing to achieve over the 4 weeks.
I know Ed talks about not pricing by the hour, but obviously need some idea of time frame to calculate the cost accordingly.
It feels wrong to charge £100 per head per hour, but equally I expect a premium price for coaching a group of people as the set up is very different and I've obviously got to consider how much time I spend preparing.
I was thinking of slashing the payment to £50 per person so that would be £2000 for 10 people over a half day as opposed to £4000 do you think that is a fair approach to have as I acknowledge business costs, but also have to remember my years of experience and the fact the service is tax deductible for businesses.
