Burning My Boats
When Ed said we needed to "burn our boats" if we wanted to succeed with the EC programme, I listened, but I didn't really hear him. I couldn't see that I had spent the last two hours updating my Upwork profile, or the 4 hours I'd spent writing my latest article for Medium. I couldn't see the hours I'd spent researching Chat GPT prompts on Youtube etc.. etc. It took me until yesterday to realise that I still had a lot of boats in the water and not only wasn't I burning them, I was actively building more!
Why am I admitting this? Because within a few hours of following Ed's advice on the Clients On Automation programme. I immediately got three enquiries from potential clients, who I'm now in the process of closing. Regardless of whether or not I successfully close my three potential clients, I was blown away by how quickly and easily I could access real income simply by following Ed's guidance. This was a real lightbulb moment for me and it prompted me to ask myself the following two questions:
1) Imagine if you were actually putting 100% of your focus on your Expert Coaching journey instead of on so many other strategies?
2) What would that look like?
If you did a serious inventory of the strategies you are currently using to bring in money and create success. Apart from your Expert Coaching journey:
1) What boats would you still have in the water?
2) How ready are you to burn them?
Note to self: "I take absolute responsibility for everything in my life." LETS GO!!!
