Israeli Air Force carrying out new wave of strikes in Tehran

The strikes come after the IDF announced that it killed Iran’s ā€œde facto leaderā€ Ali Larijani, the commander of the Basij paramilitary force, Gholamreza Soleimani, and other top Basij officials in Tehran overnight. With him was his deputy and a few more of the top were also killed.

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the president ā€œdoes not remove options off the table.ā€ Officials say a draft is not currently planned, but the administration has refused to rule it out amid the Iran conflict.
