Introduce yourself in comments. Tell everyone what types of art you've tried or enjoy, and what types you'd like to try. Post pictures if ya got 'em! For now, while the group is small, we will use this thread for introductions. But as the group grows, it will be easier for introductions to be posted individually in the thread. Feel free to introduce yourself over in the introductions thread also so as members come in, they can easily find you and learn more about you. That will help you make community connections with similar interests And also find people who have an interest that they would like to explore. Do you have any projects that are left unfinished? I'm Cindy, creator of this group. 🖌️ I love all things art and creative adventures. (I love other things too but that's for another post!) I want this space to encourage and inspire you to try new forms of art while building confidence in the process. Learn to dance, try improv, write a song, or poetry, or take up knitting! Arrange some leaves and sticks on the trail. Just start arting! 💃 Often, artistic adventures are messy. Have you ever watched an artist paint? The beginning sketch and first several layers are awkward and can cause us to quickly give up before the desired result starts to emerge. Here, we learn to trust ourselves, and the process, and celebrate along the way. Feel free to post your unfinished projects so we can celebrate the doing, not the finishing. (Feel free to post the finished product too😉)
