First Check In
One thing I decided I’m gonna do is go back and watch all of the accounting lectures from a few semesters ago while I’m doing things around the house or I’m on the bike or the treadmill. So it’s off to a good start and I didn’t forget a lot of things, but I’ll eventually get to the more challenging chapters where there is a lot of adjusting journal entries. It might sound uninteresting, however since this is my field I’m going in, I’m eager to learn more and build a solid foundation when I go further. This might sound good so far, there’s still the matter of procrastination that I face. I beat myself up sometimes about it, but I decided to try a different method, and that is by using my dry erase board. I simply write down the things I want to get done during the week, and then I check my board to see if they’re accomplished or not, and if they aren’t then I know what I need to do next. It might be a small step, but it’s an adjustment to put me on a better path.
