Hi everyone! 👋
Welcome back to Day 10 of our Zhuyin challenge.
Today we’re practicing nasal Vowels:
ㄢ ㄣ ㄤ ㄥ
These sounds end with -n or -ng, which changes how the sound resonates.
Here’s a simple guide:
ㄢ — an (like “ahn”)
ㄣ — en (like a short “un”)
ㄤ — ang (like “ah-ng")
ㄥ — eng (like “uh-ng”)
💡 Quick tip
ㄣ-(n) → tongue touches the top of your mouth
ㄥ-(ng) → sound comes from the back of the mouth
🔊 Can you recognize the sound?
Listen to the audio and choose the correct answer.
💬 Question:
Which one feels harder to hear?
ㄣ(n) or ㄥ(ng)?
