Why Zhuyin Phonics Matters
Hi guys, FYI, I work from home, which means I get to spend some time in the kitchen and watch a few cooking shows lol. When I see chefs build layers upon layers of different flavors into a dish, it reminds me why I insist on teaching Zhuyin phonics. These sounds are like the base layers of a soup — simple yet essential. By mastering them, we can build layer upon layer of sounds, just like creating a rich, flavorful dish. Imagine a soup without broth or salt — it’s still edible, but it doesn’t taste nearly as good. ✨ So, don’t worry if it feels small or simple at first — these base layers are what make your Mandarin speaking stronger in the long run. ✨ Hope you enjoy the process and have fun building your Mandarin skills! Learn Chinese Through Songs
In a world that never slows down, let’s take a moment to breathe. I’ll be sharing songs with unique vibes—so you can relax, reset, and naturally pick up Chinese along the way. 🎧✨ I really like this song —「就是喜歡你 (Just a Man in Love)」by 張震嶽 (A-Yue). It’s catchy, lively, and uplifting. Maybe one day, you’ll sing it for someone special. 😄 👀Which word or phrase did you catch? Can you hear how many times ♥️喜歡 ❣️ZHUYIN:「ㄒㄧˇ ㄏㄨㄢ 」 ❣️PINYIN: (xǐ huān) appears in this song? (it means “like”)
