Video: Automatic Shorts from YouTube Videos | Live Build | Part 3
This is Part 3 in Automating YouTube video to Shorts using self-hosted n8n, Whisper, FFmpeg, and ChatGPT-4o. Finish up the series I'll walk through combining all the clips from Part 2 into one full short, and wrap up that short with some automatic subtitles.
Video: Getting Started with n8n and Gemini 3.0
This is a deeper dive into the basics of n8n in case you're just catching up. Now is the perfect time to build your first workflow and connect it to Google's new Gemini 3.0 AI model. Let me know if you have any questions!
Video: n8n WhatsApp Chatbot Tutorial
Finally got an example of working with WhatsApp. It's a bit of a pain to setup but this tutorial includes the high-level steps for setting up the connection. You need to create your app at https://developers.facebook.com/ Once you have your app setup, then you need to Set Up WhatsApp so that you can generate an Access Token and get your Test Phone Number, and eventually assign your real phone number. With that setup, you should have everything you need to create both WhatsApp Triggers in n8n and send messages to WhatsApp with n8n. Let me know if you have any questions!
Video: Scheduled Sora 2 Videos
Use n8n, Google Sheets, Google Drive and the HTTP Request node to automate regularly scheduled Sora 2 video generations. Using a Schedule node, trigger the automation to fire daily, even multiple times per day, grab a prompt from Google Sheet and send it off to OpenAI to generate the video. Once it's complete, upload the video to Google Drive and mark that prompt as complete in the Sheet, ready to create the next one the next day. This does require access to Sora 2 which I believe is still requires an invite, but the video AI endpoint could easily be swapped out for Veo 3 or another AI video API service. Let me know if you have question or suggestions for improvements!
Video: Read Handwritten Documents with GPT
This is similar to another post where I showed how to extract data from PDFs and turn them into columns in Monday.com, but I found out that the Extract from PDF node in n8n isn't so good are reading handwritten documents. It just returns nothing instead. So I have an alternate route here to show how to upload the PDF to OpenAI and have gpt-5-mini read the document instead, which it can do with no problems. This workflow is more specific to Monday.com but you can pull out the logic for uploading and calling OpenAI's API to read the files you've uploaded, and put those nodes into whatever automation you want. The workflow JSON is attached. Let me know if you have any questions!
