I’m planning to offer a simple automation for local businesses (like landscapers, plumbers, etc.):
The idea is:
They upload their work images/videos → automation automatically posts on Facebook / Instagram / maybe YouTube.
So basically “auto content posting system”.
But I’m confused about the delivery part:
1. If I build this using tools like Make.com, the client won’t know how to manage it 2. They don’t understand automation tools or workflows
3. If I give them full access, they might break it or not use it properly
So my questions are:
- Do you guys give full control to the client, or do you manage everything yourself?
- Is it better to keep this as a monthly service instead of one-time delivery?
- How do you structure pricing for this kind of automation? (setup + monthly?)
- What’s a reasonable monthly retainer for managing this?
I’m still a beginner, so I want to understand the correct way to deliver this service in real-world scenarios.
