How to know if you're a winner
I used to think the skool games winners had some special advantage.
In fact, I thought that about every successful person.
Not that they didn’t "work hard" for it.
But surelyyyy, I thought there was something “more charismatic” or “smarter” deep in their personality.
And after I won the skool games, I was shocked.
Turns out you didn’t need:
  • To be super smart (I had to spend hours studying to get passable grades)
  • You didn’t need rich parents (I lived in a trailer for part of middle school)
  • And you didn’t need to be confident (I used to hid in my car to eat lunch just 2 years ago avoiding co-workers)
But what I DID need?
It’s so simple it felt wrong when I found it.
Disgustingly wrong.
In fact when I made my first 10k, all it actually came down to was doing 2-3 dumb tasks….over and over again.
For me those dumb tasks were:
  • Go to events to meet entrepreneurs.
  • Get them on podcasts.
  • Ask them if they knew anyone who needed a copywriter.
And I did that for 1 month, non-stop.
(I’m talking 4-6 hours of working on the podcast, 4-6 writing/reading copy, and another 4 networking in masterminds online – 7 days a week)
So it was simple.
And getting to 30k was just more of the same.
And to $50k/mo?
More of the same except* with higher caliber people...
But then I complicated it.
I tried to be “smart.”
I delegated everything and created complex systems.
I hired and overpaid people to spend days working on tasks that I could do in an hour.
And the business tanked.
For the first time ever, I lost money.
And I didn’t understand why.
But….all I knew was what had worked in the past.
So I went back to scratch, realized the massive assets I still had…
And despite being in the red that month, I invested thousands of dollars into mentorship.
Within 1 week, I got rid of all the extra expenses, systems, and fat in my business.
It was humbling, and honestly? I didn’t know what would happen.
But I kinda did.
Maybe what I’m about to tell you is actually the “magic advantage” that helps people win in business.
I knew someway…
“Somehow”
Everything would work out.
Oh any btw, I forgot to mention, Paypal had locked the revenue I had made with no promise of return.
But who cares?
I signed up for this.
We signed up to get punched in the face sometimes, and we signed up to get doors closed on us.
That’s the shit that makes it worth it.
And I’d hate business if I knew exactly how things would play out.
That’s no fun.
It’s the blind faith, and uncertainty that makes it fun.
The next month I went on to sign $12k in the first week.
I stayed steady and reinvested.
I’m working with some of the biggest entrepreneurs I know.
And the best part?
I’ve never been more excited to wake up.
I’ve never been more grateful for the opportunity to fail.
So if you’re not sure how everything is going to “work out,” and you've been working a while with no result…
GOOD.
You’re stacking up your credit.
And your cash-in is coming.
Figure out what the 3 things that directly make you money, and do them daily.
Let’s go get ittttt!
P.S. Oh and Paypal still has my money. Solution? Just make more money cuz games a game 💪
