GREAT Session today!
You know, it only takes one question and a little push to get your imagination going. Thanks to @Stephen Posthuma and @Melissa Farley for a great vision board party session today. While we didn't get to the pretty pictures part - we made great progress. Thank you for showing up!
Vision Board Party — What to Expect
This isn’t a “cut out pictures and hope” session. It’s a working hour designed to bring clarity before creativity. Total time: 90 minutes Starts at 12:15 - plan for 1 1/2 hours Zoom Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85603373079?pwd=ALoMWQ9olaUeGfVXgDtCx0h6BWGHOa.1 First 60 minutes — Setting the vision (together)! We’ll walk through goal-setting using 7 areas of life, with guided reflection and conversation: - Career & contribution - Financial life - Health & energy - Relationships - Personal growth - Fun & quality of life - Physical environment I’ll share how to think about goals so they’re: - Clear instead of vague - Grounded instead of aspirational fluff - Aligned with who you are now — not who you think you “should” be You’ll do short exercises, think, write, and recalibrate. No rushing. No pressure to share yet. Last 30 minutes — Create & share You’ll build your vision board (physical or digital) and have the option to share what emerged — not for approval, but for visibility and momentum. Bring with you (ideas, not requirements) - Images, words, screenshots, or notes that pull you forward - A notebook or paper for ideas that don’t have pictures yet - Something to write with - Your chosen format (physical board, Canva, notes app — all welcome) - A quiet space and uninterrupted time - An open mind and honest answers That’s it. One important note This session works best if you show up as you are — not polished, not “figured out. "Clarity comes from engagement, not perfection. Active participants will be acknowledged afterward. Because momentum deserves to be seen. See you Friday.
Preparing, not performing
No pressure to be creative tomorrow No pressure to “do it right.” If you want to come prepared for the Vision Board Party, here’s all you need today: - A few words that describe how you want life to feel next - Images, ideas, or notes that pull you forward - Anything that feels true — not impressive That’s enough.
Moving beyond surface goals
Before Friday, a small bit of prep — nothing heavy. If you’re joining the Vision Board Party, consider gathering a few of these today: - Images, words, or screenshots that reflect what you want more of - A notebook or paper for ideas that don’t have pictures yet - One area of life you’re ready to design forward - A few feeling-words (how you want life to feel, not just look) - Anything that helps you think clearly — coffee, quiet, music No perfection required. This isn’t arts and crafts. It's about clarity. Tomorrow we’ll focus on keeping it simple.
