What helps …
Some tips I can say that have helped me. •Eucalyptus scent, it can be candle or oil . I really love this scent, it just smells calming. • Music - I listen all types of music, you can really tell my mood by the music I’m listening to at the moment. Music has also helped me to fall asleep. Setting a device to play for 10-15 minutes of sound frequencies, ocean sounds. • Sour Candy- When I feel anxious and I can’t shake it off. Sour candy is a good way to kinda trick your brain and distract it. Cold water and fresh air also works. • Fidget toys- There are times when I’m stressed or anxious and having something in hand can help. My favorite is a fidget ring that spins. There are just a few that help me on a daily basis. Everybody is different and something it’s takes time to find something that helps you.

Being Diagnosed.
I was diagnosed about 4-5 years ago with anxiety and depression and began medication. My mental health had gotten worse during the pandemic. I was having panic attacks, crying spells, couldn't sleep, overthink about everything. I shut out people for weeks and didn't want to participate in any social events. I searched for therapist that my health insurance would cover. Then when I would finally find a therapist, I couldn't connect with a few of them. It was difficult to find someone who you felt comfortable with. I have been seeing my therapist now for about 3 years now. I also began medication for anxiety and depression. I still felt off like something was still not right. I asked to be evaluated for ADHD, the clinic then did confirm me having ADHD. I then started medication late spring and I'm still in the process figuring out the medication that's right for me. Feel free to ask question, or leave a comment.
