This is the second time my 7 year old has played with fire, the first time his dad spanked him🫣 what is a good way to discipline him? I want him to understand his action are dangerous!

Hi family! Please help a young mother out. Can you please give me ideas of consequences for bad behavior like talking back or being disobedient. I sometimes just try to explain everything to my kids and no consequence and now I see that there's no change in their behavior. I have a 9 years old daughter and 7 years old son.

Hey so I recently gave up sin completely and have decided to surrender my life to Christ. Since my son has returned to school he has issues following directions and disturbing others while working. I don’t know what to do especially since I’ve decided to change my ways because before I would yell at him when he got home or give him a whooping or even not allowing him to do anything when he gets home and I don’t want to keep trying to parent from a place of control so I really need a prayer to pray over him and some sort of direction on how I should be disciplining him.
