I’ve noticed something many parents in this community have said lately.
“I feel like I’m failing as a parent.”
And I want to ask a real question tonight.
What standard are you using to measure that?
In school it’s clear. You take a test.
If you score below a certain number, you fail.
But parenting doesn’t come with a grading scale.
So if you feel like you’re failing…
What is the standard you’re measuring yourself against?
Is it:
• social media families that look perfect?
• how you were raised?
• mistakes you made this week?
• the behavior of your child?
• something God is showing you?
Let’s talk honestly tonight.
What makes you feel like you’re failing as a parent?
