A quiet check-in (no pressure to reply)
I want to pause for a moment and say this out loud:
If you’ve been reading posts, thinking about your idea, opening the app and closing it again you’re still doing the work.
A lot of children’s books don’t start with pages.
They start with noticing.
With wondering.
With carrying a feeling around for a while before it has words.
There’s no expectation to post today.
No need to be “ready.”
No requirement to explain your idea clearly yet.
But if you want to engage in the smallest possible way, here’s an option:
👉 Comment with one word that describes how you feel about your book right now.
(Excited. Stuck. Curious. Overwhelmed. Hopeful. Unsure. Calm.)
That’s it. No follow-up required.
And if today is a read-only day for you …that counts too.
