It drops your client into decision mode, and the deal stalls.
Try this instead: “When would be a good time to pick this back up?”
That line assumes progress.
No pressure.
No push.
Just movement.
Add this for extra magic: “When we regroup next week, what would you need from me to feel confident moving forward?”
