It’s not “giving up.” It’s management — and management is good training. During the holidays: - People come and go - Boundaries get blurry - Dogs get overstimulated - Routines disappear - Yummy food gets dropped! Keeping a leash on your dog gives you: ✔️ Calm control without constant correcting ✔️ A way to redirect before things escalate ✔️ Less stress for you and your dog ✔️ A chance for your dog to succeed instead of rehearse bad habits The goal isn’t perfection during Christmas. The goal is peace. If you’re hosting this week, keep it simple: Leash on. Clear expectations. Calm praise. Your future training will thank you.
