Watercolour Paint Along is happening in 6 days
Catching up
Last week I put the first layer of the painting but have since been away. Have decided to focus on this week’s upcoming lesson with the purple plants (lavender?) and come back to this one afterwards.

Calm & Easy Paint Along Dittisham Boat
The recording of last night's live is now on Youtube. Top Tips: I would suggest that you mask out the boat and houses and give it time to dry before starting. Give yourself more space for the trees on the left Give yourself a larger colour selection than originally suggested e,g, ultramarine , burnt umber to get the very dark tree areas. Swap the yellow ochre for a cadmium yellow. Yellow ochre doesn't blend well. Add a turquoise if you have one, Mix your tree colours for the background a little softer, e.g. make them more blue/grey so they look further away. Do share what you create, I love seeing them
