📢NEW Edition: Deal Report - Buying An EU Cafe For €98,000 Down
Seven years ago I wired €98,000 for a café I found on a random European property listing site at 1:14am.
Despite all of the common business-buying tips you hear... This was NOT a cool 'roll up' strategy, or distressed business.
And there wasn’t some dramatic “value-add” angle to sell it for 3x more later on.
It was a normal café doing about €35k a month in revenue and roughly €8k in profit after rent, staff, COGs.
No multiple expansions or exciting 'scaling' ideas. Just steady cash flow.
It settled into about €2-4k per month in owner take-home in stable, boring income with low headache.
Three years later, I sold my 'Stable Sally' - which was a HUGE mistake.
As you'll see..
Most entrepreneurs and investors say they want freedom, but what they end up building is volatility.
Big swings in revenue and endlessly fighting advertising algorithms.
And then they call it “investing” when really it’s just pouring more money into a volatile system.
👉🏼 That's the exact problem I address today in this edition: Creating freedom and stability for the future through buying a business.
First off, quick role call. You're only ready to actually start investing when the question in your mind shifts from:
“How big can I make this one deal?”
To:
“How stable can I make this without getting bored?”
This edition shows you why that's important with a real case study.

PS- This edition and post is not investing advice. Do not buy a cafe in a foreign country, lol. This is purely for educational purposes only.
