Don’t let the title and cover fool you. This is one the most challenging and simultaneously useful books I’ve ever read. What is the point of reading anything if you are just a puppet to the words? Clear thinking requires not being a slave to words. A slave is one who is controlled by a power, particularly power over the mind. And words run your mind. You can’t think without words. This book is written by a notable researcher and designed to challenge the way words are used in your brain— so that you consciously gain control back.
