Introducing....me!

I live in Charleston, WV, USA. Have played fiddle since about 1975, learning mostly by ear starting with "old-time Appalachian," and Celtic, but also accompanying various folk and vintage genres like jug band music, early blues and swing. Played in regional bands that made albums, tapes, CDs that if you search my YouTube Channel ( https://www.youtube.com/@Paul1Epstein ) you can listen to. During Covid, I started to seriously try to learn swing fiddling, taking some online courses. I joined Learn Jazz Standards dot com in Feb, 2023 and that's been a great experience. I've played for a few months with Thomas Wallerson's LJS jam sessions where I met Ann Vancoillie, who has invited me here.
