Free Plasma Core, $1,000+ Value
Quick update on the Plasma One post I made earlier.
If you signed up around the time I first shared Plasma here, open your Plasma app and check the Core page.
I just got an email from Plasma saying early users may be eligible for 12 months of Core for free.
This is not just a small cashback upgrade.
Plasma is showing Core as over $1,000 in yearly value.
The value breakdown they show:
• Base cashback: up to $500/year
• AI cashback: up to $350/year
• ChatGPT Go subscription: $240/year
• Referral rewards: uncapped
Core normally costs $120/year, or you can lock XPL depending on what your app shows.
But for some early users, the app now shows:
• One year free
• $0/year for the first year
• $0 effective annual cost
• Limited claim window
• Renews at $120/year after the free year
• You can cancel or switch before renewal
The requirement I’m seeing:
You need a $100 minimum balance in Plasma to claim the offer.
For example, my app showed I needed to deposit $56.36 more to reach the required balance.
After that, Core showed as my current tier.

My take:
If you already opened Plasma from the original post, this is worth checking today.
You are basically getting the paid Core tier free for the first year, as long as you keep the required $100 balance and claim it before the timer ends.
For Cloud Residents, the main use case is still simple:
• Stablecoin-funded Visa spending
• USD bank account details
• Cashback without needing a US credit card
Important note:
This is not credit building.
Plasma does not report to credit bureaus or secondary bureaus and I would not use it to park large balances.
Treat it as a spending rail, not a bank account.
