New indoor cycling trainer
New toy im testing out! The RAD Max Racer9 trainer! Very affordable compared to alot of similar trainers. I wanted to see how they worked before investing anything into a more expensive one. Plus I havent purchased a tri-bike yet so didnt see the need to go all out on an indoor trainer yet!

Endurance Day in the Pool
Today was a longer swim. I working on getting better at unbroken laps. The goal is to be at 200m by end of the year. Technique is a priority, and consistency is the key! Anyone else have any swim or general endurance goals?

Endurance Day in the Pool
Starting the Month out Right!
Knocked out a 5k this morning to get back into the swing of things! I've been avoiding running for a little over a month so today was the start to consistent running again. The plan is 3days/wk. I'll be mixing in light runs, longer runs for endurance and even some sprints to build strength. I'd love to hear everyone's goals and see what you're doing for your training!

Welcome! Allow Me to Introduce Myself
Hey everyone, I’m Ryan, and I’m excited to kick off this community. A little about me: I left "Corporate America" (The "Rat Race"; "The 9-5") in February of this year because I was unfulfilled and could not continue to pretend it did. The exit wasn't random but part of a grand plan to live fulfilled through my passion for real estate investing and wellness. Through all of that, I set a personal challenge to complete an Ironman by the time I hit 50. I set that challenge as someone who hates to run, is not a strong swimmer, and hadn't rode a bike in a decade. But starting this group isn’t just about the race, it’s about growth in every area of life. Mind, Body, Spirit. From training, conditioning, recovery, and nutrition, to meditation, breathwork and stillness, to testing new tools, equipment and protocols. All with the goal of continuing to challenge myself to build the strongest mind & body that I can. All while making sure to have fun along the way. That’s what this community is about. It’s a space for sharing the journey — the highs, the struggles, the breakthroughs and proving that new chapters and new challenges are possible at any age. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing: - 🏊 Insights from my own training and progress - 🚴 Gear, tools, and recovery practices I’m experimenting with or need recommendation on - 🏃 Thoughts on mindset, discipline vs motivation and anything else that seems right - 💬 Opportunities to connect and hold each other accountable This is new for me, and I’m still learning how to use Skool to bring the most value . But my goal is to build a space where we can encourage each other through accountability, share strategies, and experiences as we find our stride; whether in triathlons, business, or life. Thanks for being here from the start. Let’s build something amazing together. Discipline. Resilience. Growth. At Any Age.
