Long distance
Hi everyone,I’m looking into investing in affordable properties under $100K in Midwest cities like St. Louis, Indianapolis, and similar markets. I’m especially interested in renting with Section 8 (Housing Choice Voucher Program).
I’d love to hear from landlords already doing this long-distance:
  • How is Section 8 working out for you in these areas?
  • Do you see steady rent payments and low vacancy?
  • Any big issues with inspections, property management, or tenant quality?
  • Would you recommend it—or is it more hassle than it’s worth?
Any real-world experiences (good or bad) would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
