Day 0
DAY 0:
My name is john gigante a new jersey native who has been living In northern Maine for the last 9 years growing cannabis. I am a single father who lost his father at 16 and has an elderly mother. Some days I feel like life is impossible and for the longest time I felt stuck. I am here to have a greater impact on future generations rather than just sell them weed. I want to change my purpose; I have already started by losing weight and started this program. I am here to create a niche for my content and master the process Danniel has created to be able to make content from anywhere and monetize it so I can not be stuck in Maine and spend as many days with my loved ones. I no longer want to impact the people around me by only selling cannabis its time to help make the world a little better of a place one post at a time.

5 struggles:
1. I suffer from depression which makes me fee like some days I can’t get ahead of anything and let my emotions win often I find myself saying the quote “cry it out and turn back on the gangster” after loosing my father at 16 I have had a hard time regulating my emotions and talking about it like I am now. It was also hard to watch him go from heart disease to cancer followed by death. That is what gave me the motivation to get my ass in shape to not die early for my daughter. I was 13 years old docking the boat after a fishing trip because he was having a heart attack and we didn’t even know, life changed so fast those years, and I don’t think I ever really got over it. When cancer took him, I found weed and never turned back it was my safe place. For a long time, I thought that was helping people because when his stage 4 cancer took over his life and the chemo nearly killed him cannabis gave him an extra 3,5 months of a decent life which ill always cherish, sadly a lot of his choices throughout life made his life end early and that was hard to cope with and allow myself to understand until recently.
2. I struggle watching my mother age by the day and our relationship struggles some days due to differences in opinions and me wanting to positively change but her being stuck in a depressing cycle which I am trying to change for my daughter’s sake. She was Avery loving mother but won’t take accountability for her health or the face that growing up our diet was killing us, at 12 I was 41 percent body fat and about 245 lbs. which has made making these changes even harder over having the support you would expect from a parent.
3. I am a single father who is often on the road or stuck in my gardens missing curtail moments and that hurts but as a man and a father I need to learn that providing her with a stable future is a big part of loving her, regardless of if that means ill have to miss a few things. Something I know many parents struggle with themselves.
4. I want love in life but am too unhinged and aware to allow myself to fall too deeply which can make you feel crazy. I have a great ability to connect and relate to people, but when it comes to a real relationship, I always choose to run over fight for it.
5. I built something great I thought I once loved (my cannabis farm) but I went somewhere it was cheaper to operate, markets changed, and it became one of my biggest headaches that I never wanted to let go until I started to love myself for the first time after losing weight and getting in the gym at 33 years old. I allowed myself to get unhealthy from the stress of my business which gave me health issues like gout and was boarder line diabetic until I got my ass in the gym.
5 contrasting wins:
1. Although my mom and I struggle I still go to her house 10 hours from Maine, to make sure we spend time together regardless of if we fight or have disagreements.
2. I have an amazing relationship with my daughter and will let them grow to struggle or lose money to make sure I am there for her, especially when it comes to her hobbies like her horses.
3. Although I am a single father me and my daughter’s mother have remained best friends and co parent great, which shoes me there is such thing as unconditional love, but life is hard in that department in other ways. Regardless, I am thankful we can still share our love for our baby and allow each other to live our lives without friction. We are a great team I hope others can see how we are and do better by their kids, another quote I’ve started to live by “lead by example”
4. Although have lost 100 lbs. I still struggle with self-confidence and feel like the fat guy no one respects or pays attention to. Deep down this one hurt and I hope by changing my lifestyle this can go away. I was always the guy on the team nut never played or got my chance to feel strong I always was able to create my own “spotlight”, but I never felt what it feels like to be a winner, I still feel this to this day. I still want to find something to make me feel whole and that my purpose isn’t just the easy route.
5. I pride myself in being genuine and love everyone equally. I know everyone struggles deep down like I do and, on most days, I make sure to interact with a stranger and make people smile. Were all here on a huge rock with water trying to survive. Regardless of how low I feel il always try to cheer up others or help in any way I can, especially spiritually.
