Week 3: Day 20 Content Hooks
POST 1
Content Pillar: The Person Behind the Business
Hook Angle: A belief that shapes how you do things
ENGLISH
Hook:
One thing I believe strongly is that [YOUR BELIEF ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WORK, INDUSTRY OR SOMETHING YOU CARE ABOUT]. And here's why. 👇
Sub Hook:
It's something I've learnt through my own experiences, and it influences how I approach [YOUR WORK, BUSINESS, HOBBY OR DAILY LIFE].
Cover Hook:
One thing I strongly believe…
Talking Points:
  • Start by sharing one genuine belief you have about your work, life, industry or something you care about.
  • Use the fill-in-the-blank hook to make it sound like you. Your belief doesn't need to be deep or life-changing.
  • For example, if you sell skincare, you might believe that looking after your skin doesn't have to involve a complicated 12-step routine.
  • If you offer a service, you might believe that people deserve to understand what they're paying for before they commit.
  • If you teach a skill, you might believe that beginners should be allowed to ask questions without feeling silly.
  • If you sell handmade products, you might believe that small details can make an ordinary item feel special.
  • Explain where this belief comes from. Perhaps you experienced the opposite, learnt something the hard way, or simply noticed something over time.
  • Share a small, real example from your own life or experience.
  • Explain how this belief influences the way you work, make decisions or serve your customers.
  • You don't need to share a private story or reveal anything you're uncomfortable discussing.
  • Keep the focus on what you genuinely believe, rather than what you think people want to hear.
  • End by asking your audience what they believe about the same topic.
Caption:
We all have things we believe in, things we've learnt along the way, and little lessons that change how we see the world.
For me, one of those things is [YOUR BELIEF].
It's something that influences how I approach [YOUR WORK, LIFE OR INDUSTRY], and it's worth sharing because it says a little more about the person behind this page.
You don't have to agree with me on everything. That's the beauty of being your own person. 😊
What's one thing you strongly believe in? I'd love to hear yours.
CTA:
Tell me one thing you strongly believe in. Let's have a proper conversation in the comments. 👇
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
Een ding waarin ek sterk glo, is dat [JOU OORTUIGING OOR JOU LEWE, WERK, BEDRYF OF IETS WAT VIR JOU BELANGRIK IS]. En hier is hoekom. 👇
Sub Hook:
  • Verduidelik waar hierdie oortuiging vandaan kom.
Vir my is een daarvan [JOU OORTUIGING].
Ek sal graag joune wil hoor.
CTA:
Vertel my van een ding waarin jy sterk glo. Kom ons gesels behoorlik in die kommentaar. 👇
POST 2
Content Pillar: The Open Invitation
Hook Angle: When someone is ready for a little help
ENGLISH
Hook:
If [THE PROBLEM YOUR CUSTOMER IS EXPERIENCING] is becoming a regular headache, let me show you what I offer and who it may help. 👇
Sub Hook:
Sometimes you don't need to keep figuring everything out on your own. The right product, service or support may make the next step easier.
Cover Hook:
Here's how I may be able to help.
Talking Points:
  • Start by naming one specific problem your ideal customer may be experiencing.
  • For example, someone buying skincare might be unsure which products suit their skin.
  • Someone looking for a service might be overwhelmed by a task they don't have the time or skills to handle.
  • Someone interested in learning a new skill might not know where to begin.
  • Introduce your actual offer: [YOUR PRODUCT, SERVICE, PROGRAM OR OFFER].
  • Explain what it is in simple language, as though you're explaining it to a friend.
  • Share the main thing it is designed to help with.
  • Mention two or three relevant features, inclusions or benefits.
  • Explain who might find it useful and why.
  • Be honest about what it does and doesn't include. Don't promise results you can't guarantee.
  • If there are different options, briefly explain how someone can find the one that suits their needs.
  • Make it easy for people to ask questions before deciding.
  • Keep the invitation friendly. You're opening a conversation, not demanding a sale.
Caption:
Let's talk about something that might be useful if you've been dealing with [SPECIFIC CUSTOMER PROBLEM].
I offer [YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE], which is designed to help with [THE NEED IT ADDRESSES].
Depending on what you're looking for, it may be a good fit if you need:
  • [BENEFIT OR FEATURE ONE]
  • [BENEFIT OR FEATURE TWO]
  • [BENEFIT OR FEATURE THREE]
Of course, it won't automatically be the right choice for everyone. What matters is whether it fits your needs, preferences and budget.
If you've been curious about what I offer, you're welcome to ask me questions and find out more before making a decision.
No pressure. It's always better to understand your options first. 😊
CTA:
If you'd like to know more about [YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE], leave a question in the comments. I'll gladly explain what you need to know.
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
  • Stel jou werklike aanbod bekend: [JOU PRODUK, DIENS, PROGRAM OF AANBOD].
  • Noem twee of drie relevante kenmerke, insluitings of voordele.
  • [VOORDEEL OF KENMERK TWEE]
  • [VOORDEEL OF KENMERK DRIE]
CTA:
As jy meer wil weet oor [JOU PRODUK OF DIENS], los gerus 'n vraag in die kommentaar. Ek verduidelik graag wat jy moet weet.
POST 3
Content Pillar: The Customer's Checklist
Hook Angle: Three things worth checking before you decide
ENGLISH
Hook:
Before you spend money on [THE TYPE OF PRODUCT, SERVICE OR SOLUTION YOU OFFER], check these three things first. You might thank yourself later. 👀
Sub Hook:
A little research now can save you from choosing something that looks good on the surface but doesn't actually suit your needs.
Cover Hook:
Check these 3 things first.
Talking Points:
  • Explain that choosing something based only on a picture, advertisement or first impression can leave important questions unanswered.
  • Check 1: Does it solve your actual problem? Be clear about what you need help with before choosing.
  • For example, if you're buying a kitchen appliance, think about whether it can do the specific job you need it to do.
  • If you're choosing a service, check whether the provider actually offers the help you need.
  • Check 2: What is included? Look beyond the headline or product name.
  • Check the features, materials, service details, support, delivery arrangements or other relevant inclusions.
  • If you're buying a course or learning resource, check what you'll actually receive and what level of support is available.
  • Check 3: Does it suit your circumstances? Consider your budget, available time, preferences and current needs.
  • A product that works brilliantly for one person might not be the right fit for someone else.
  • Encourage people to read the details, ask questions and compare relevant features before committing.
  • Adapt these three checks to the type of products or services you offer. Use examples your own customers will recognise.
  • End by reminding people that an informed decision is better than a rushed one.
Caption:
We've all seen something online and thought, "That looks exactly like what I need!"
Then you look a little closer and realise you've still got questions. 😂
Before choosing [YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE CATEGORY], check these three things:
1. Does it meet your actual need?
Be clear about the problem you're trying to solve.
2. What do you really get?
Look at the details, inclusions and support instead of relying on the headline alone.
3. Does it fit your life right now?
Think about your budget, time and what matters most to you.
These questions might sound simple, but they can help you make a more informed choice.
And if something isn't clear, ask. You don't have to buy first and figure everything out afterwards.
CTA:
Save this for the next time you're comparing [PRODUCTS, SERVICES OR SOLUTIONS IN YOUR NICHE]. Which of these three do you think people overlook most often?
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
Voordat jy geld spandeer op [DIE TIPE PRODUK, DIENS OF OPLOSSING WAT JY AANBIED], kyk eers na hierdie drie dinge. Jy mag dalk later vir jouself dankie sê. 👀
Sub Hook:
  • Kyk 2: Wat is ingesluit? Kyk verder as die opskrif of produknaam.
  • Kyk 3: Pas dit by jou omstandighede?
CTA:
