Let's welcome Connor Vandevord
I’m really glad you’re here. Take your time and look around. Explore the programs, the lessons, and the resources available to you. There’s a lot here, and you don’t need to absorb it all at once. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. No question is too small, and chances are, if you’re wondering about something, someone else is too. This is a learning space, not a pressure space. We grow by showing up, staying curious, and supporting each other. And if you ever need help or clarity, I’m here. Reach out anytime. Welcome aboard. Let’s build something meaningful together. your friend Pepe / Marc
Easter Weekend
Fasika, also known as Ethiopian Orthodox Easter, is the most important religious celebration in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ after a long period of fasting called Lent (Hudade), which lasts 55 days. The celebration begins with a midnight church service filled with prayers, candles, and hymns. Afterward, families gather to break their fast with traditional foods like doro wat (chicken stew) and injera. Fasika is a time of faith, forgiveness, and joyful reunion with loved ones.
