WEEKEND CHALLENGE — 100 POINTS
After some of the conversations we’ve had in here the last couple of days, I think this weekend we need something a little different.
This one isn’t about calories burned, reps, steps or how hard you can push yourself.
50 POINTS — 30 MINUTES OF SILENCE
Find somewhere you can be completely alone for 30 minutes. Outdoors if possible.
No phone. No music. No podcast. No TV. No scrolling. No distractions.
Just sit there.
Think. Reflect. Breathe. Look around. Let your brain slow down for a little while.
We spend almost every waking minute being stimulated by something. Give yourself 30 minutes where absolutely nothing is demanding your attention.
50 POINTS — 30 MINUTES OF STRETCHING & RECOVERY
Spend another 30 minutes taking care of your body.
Stretch. Work on your mobility. Foam roll. Breathe. Hit the areas that are tight and sore. Nothing intense. This is about slowing down and recovering.
Do both and you’ve got 100 points.
This weekend I’m challenging you to spend one hour doing absolutely nothing productive for anyone else.
30 minutes for your mind.
30 minutes for your body.
You might be surprised how much you needed both.
