How is germinating spinach seeds different?
I’ve researched enough to know that it’s different and more difficult but I’d like to hear it from The Master himself.
Peas and leafy greens?
I have a TG Flex with the TG LED indoor grow lights. I grew leafy greens for my first attempt and was successful in that attempt. Now for the 2nd try I will grow the same leafy greens (lettuce, kale, arugula) but I'd like to add peas if possible. Chad will peas grow with these TG LED lights? If so which will be easiest for a newbie to grow indoors?
Male dominated cucumber plant
I have 2 compact space cucumbers growing in tower garden. One has cucumbers all over it and male/female flowers. The other has many blooms, but no cucumbers. I would say above 95% male. I think I have seen one female that looked healthy. There is a lot of stuff bursting to come out, but should I just pull it? It takes up a lot of space. I get personally connected to the success of these plants, but when do you just walk away?
PAR vs PPFD and then there's the meters
I have a PAR meter but the more I read the more confused I get. Do I need a PAR meter, a PPFD meter, or both? I grow indoors so am I looking at PAR or PPFD... what's the difference?
3 part nutrients for 2 part greens. What applications table do I use?
Ok so I have the Flora Series. Now I realize, after watching one of your (Chad's) videos that for leafy greens I don't need the Flora Bloom. Leafy greens can do just fine on 2 of the 3 part series, specifically Flora Grow and Flora Micro. So Chad what would my Basic Applications Table look like for my case? Do I follow the same ratios but eliminate FS Bloom and ignore the "Transition to Bloom" and "Blooming and Ripening " stages? I am growing indoors with the TG LEDs so there will be not fruits or flowers.. Should I buy some other nutrients if I am just going to grow leafy greens?
